Synopsis
A sweeping period romance set in 1926 Gunsan under Japanese colonial rule. Heo Su-a, the servant of a pro-Japanese landowner, is a girl who loves the sea and believes she is a fish — until her voice is stolen from her. Crossing paths with Kang Ui-hyeon, an independence activist hiding behind a photo studio, she risks everything for him. The drama reimagines Hans Christian Andersen's 'Little Mermaid' through the lens of Korean resistance.
